Michael Trott.
Michael is Managing Director and a Solicitor. He can deal with all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing as well as advising and assisting upon private family law matters.
Michael has extensive experience and vast knowledge in property and family matters having been an equity partner with a well-known and popular high street law firm.
Michael previously qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Always making sure client satisfaction is at the top of the list, Michael enjoys working with clients and their varied professional advisors.

Joe Richardson.
Joe is a Director and Solicitor. He has spent the last 15 years practising and advising clients on all aspects of Private Client Law, including Wills and Estate Planning, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Tax and Estate Administration.
He is very experienced assisting vulnerable clients and bereaved family members, and has been personally appointed as a professional Executor, Attorney, Financial Deputy and Trustee while an Equity Partner and Head of Department in a large East Sussex law firm.
Joe graduated from the University of Southampton with a Law Degree (LLB Hons) and achieved a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford, before completing a two-year training contract and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004.
In his free time he enjoys being with his fiancée, his three children and the family’s British Bulldog, who will be found reluctantly walking around Hampden Park most evenings and weekends.

Kaitlin Booker.
Kaitlin is a paralegal and is friendly and approachable. She has experience of assisting with heavy workloads and carefully managing pressure having previously worked at a well-respected and busy local law firm. Kaitlin aims to provide to clients and professionals with whom she works, the best possible service.

Kate Trott.
Kate is married to Michael and is a qualified Legal Secretary. Kate is happy, approachable and is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, working alongside clients and stakeholders for seamless advice and assistance.
Kate has many years’ experience in legal support work, having worked for a major local firm immediately prior to taking a career break to raise Kate and Michael’s children. The children are a little older and Kate has transitioned into the office environment as though she had never left.
Kate enjoys interior design to compliment Michael’s DIY skills and making sure that the children enjoy every new day.

Kerry Jones.
Kerry provides support as a valued team member of MCT. She has experience of accounting, legal secretarial duties and is extremely hard-working and conscientious. Kerry is very calm and collected.
In her spare time, Kerry enjoys spending time with family and going on long walks with her dog, Django. She has an extensive knowledge and love for movies equalled only by her love for animals.

Claire Richardson.
Claire is an Associate Solicitor and deals with various aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing having had previous legal experience in various local high street firms where Claire has developed her passion for property law.
She takes pride in providing the best possible service to her clients, understanding that the process of moving can be one of the most stressful and exciting times in equal measure. Claire aims to make the process as stress-free as possible to allow clients to focus on their exciting new chapter and fully embraces the MCT open door policy.
Claire graduated Bournemouth University in 2019 with a Law Degree (LLB Hons) before going on to study the Legal Practice Course and reading for her Masters in Law (LLM) with the University of Law, London Bloomsbury where she graduated with a Distinction in both disciplines in 2021. Claire then went on to secure a training contract with a local high street firm, qualifying in September 2023 before commencing her work here at MCT Solicitors.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and English Bulldog, Bugsy, keeping active and reading.
